London based trio The Invisible was started by Dave Okuma, the jazz fusionist who often goes by E-40. After attempting to start various other bands, Okuma decided releasing solo work would be ideal for him, but eventually asked two friends, Tom Herbert and Leo Taylor to play with him and the trio began touring extensively throughout England. With its danceable post-rock meets indie pop, The Invisible's debut album was nominated for the coveted Mercury Prize and has since been on the rise as one of England's best exports.
