MONEY is an ethereal darkwave band that emerged out of Manchester in 2011. Since its inception, the band has operated under various names but is perhaps best known for its run as Meke Menete, during which it released several videos that showed of its experimental aesthetic. The four-piece outfit refashioned itself as MONEY and captured a warm, melancholic sound before signing with Bella Union in 2013 and releasing a couple of singles, including "Bluebell Fields."
