Recording a full length studio album before playing a single show is a unusual move for a band to make, but Chicago based five-piece Action Blast followed through on this generally conceived as backwards plan and was met with a fair amount of success. Hyping up the album on the internet and getting its single played on local radio stations before its release aided in selling out the bands first ever show. Since then, the band has primarily played shows in its hometown and continues to garner positive press with its alternative rock.
