The Bird and the Bee

Powerful forces are at hand when two musicians find a deep rooted respect for a given musical genre. For Inara George ("the bird") and Greg Kurstin ("the bee"), a mutual admiration for jazz standards was the bond that originally drew the two together. In 2006, as the duo collaborated more and more in Los Angeles, they decided to incorporate elements of electropop into their musical style. With the combination of jazz, pop and electronic elements the duo arrived at an original sound that has gone over well with crowds and critics alike.
