Crash Kings is an alternative rock trio from Los Angeles that creates unique music by blending a nontraditional instrumental approach with a palatable singing style to create a radio-friendly style of music. Founded in 2006, the group started playing shows around the Los Angeles area and was soon noticed by musician and producer Linda Perry, who introduced the band and helped it land a recording contract with Universal Motown. The group released its self-titled debut album in 2009, and the LP helped establish Crash Kings as a Southern California-based band that's willing to push the envelope when it comes to mainstream-ready, alternative rock.
