Deemed one of the founders of the deathcore genre, Despised Icon is a Montreal six-piece formed in 2002. Using two singers, one for screaming and one for growling, Despised Icon is unique to the hardcore/metal scene and has built a huge underground fan base in Canada. While the band announced its disbandment in 2010 due to the band members settling down with their families, Despised Icon will play one last farewell tour in Europe and North America.
