Rich Machin and Ian Glover are Soulsavers, a production and remix duo often referred to as The Soulsavers Soundsystem. The pair came together in 2000 and realized its soul, gospel, rock and country-inspired downtempo music on its debut album Tough Guys Don't Dance, in 2003. After releasing another record, Soulsavers released its breakthrough album in 2009 titled Broken, like the band's previous efforts, featured Lanegan on lead vocals and a string of contributing musicians. Earning the a fair amount of commercial, critical and industry acclaim the duo has worked with some of the most prominent names in electronic music including Depeche Mode front man Dave Gahan, who provided lead vocals for Soulsavers' 2012 album, The Light the Dead See.
