When Las Vegas based alternative glam-rock band The Killers decided to take a bit off time off from recording and touring in 2009, the group's lead singer, Brandon Flowers, decided to carry on and record solo material then take his tunes on the road. Sounding relatively similar to his work with The Killers, Flowers is a unique musical figure who's able to get away with singing about Americana themes while at the same time interjecting his songs with classic Vegas panache.
