Pierre Lapointe is an award-winning singer/songwriter and classical musician from Quebec. Since the release of his self-titled debut album in 2004, he has earned several prestigious music awards including six Félix Awards in 2005 for his poetic songwriting style, accentuated by his primarily French lyrics. His follow-up album, La Forêt des Mal-Aimés, was released in 2006 and debuted at number one on the Canadian albums chart.
