Formed by indie darling and front girl of Rilo Kiley, Jenny Lewis, along with her boyfriend Jonathan Rice, a solo singer/songwriter and longtime guitarist for Elvis Costello, Jenny and Johnny is everything you'd expect from a boyfriend-girlfriend duo. The two create cutesy and charming--but surprisingly impressive--indie pop with nods to folk and 1950s rock. What started as a project for fun in their spare time turned into a full-length album that will be released by Warner Brothers and accompanied by a national tour.
