Shakespeare's classic The Winter's Tale centers around the King of Sicily and his misplaced jealousy that leads to the death of his son and abandonment of his daughter. Surrounded by a shroud of oracles, gods and magic, the play is reminiscent of Greek tragedies but is still relevant in modern times for its implications of the power of forgiveness.
