Luke Doucet

Vancouver based singer/songwriter Luke Doucet began playing music at an early age, touring with Sarah McLachlan's band at the age of 18. Soon after, Doucet became the front man for the popular surf rock band Veal, eventually breaking off on his own in 2001 to release solo material. His first release was a quiet folk album, a drastic departure from the work his did with Veal. After garnering fame in Canada and three records later, Doucet moved to Nashville for six months to record Blood's Too Rich, his most popular album to date and one that ventured more into the alternative country genre than any of Doucet's previous works.
