About
Lo Stato Sociale is an electropop outfit that was founded by three DJs -- Alberto Cazzola, Lodovico Guenzi and Alberto Guidetti. Hailing from Bologna, the trio united in 2009 with a shared affinity for indie rock-infused electronica. Lo Stato Sociale released its debut EP Welfare Pop, in 2010, and has since expanded to include a full live band. The group dropped its debut album Turisti della democrazia, with Garricha Dischi in 2012, followed by 2014's L'Italia peggiore.
