Wawau Adler

Guitar virtuoso Wawau Adler comes from a family of gypsy musicians--the most successful were his uncle and grandfather who played the harp for operas. Entirely self-taught, Adler developed his own style of manouche jazz, encompassing bebop, bossa nova and swing. Equally comfortable playing acoustic and electric, Adler thinks of music as a dialogue and believes each type of guitar has something different and unique to say. Adler performs solo and with other gypsy jazz musicians in his home country of Germany and occasionally in other parts of Europe.
