Incantation is a death metal band from Johnstown, Pennsylvania that was formed in 1989. Known for blending a number of varied tempos in its music, the group became a big player on the New England death metal scene in the early-1990s. The group released its debut album, Onward to Golgotha, in 1992 and since then Incantation has been releasing LPs at a fairly regular rate.
