Gabriel is a rapper from Iceland who owns a melodic, alternative hip-hop style. He collaborated with various artists, including Valdimar Guðmundsson of the pop rock band Valdimar and Unnstein Manuel Stefánsson of the alternative dance pop outfit Retro Stefson, for his 2013 debut album Gimsteinar, giving the record a crossover effect that has earned him a national audience.
