The worlds of jazz and rock rarely overlap, but when they do there are oftentimes interesting and unexpected results. The blending of styles is unique and typically unlike what most people would expect. The California based group Kneebody capitalizes off this combination of genres and does an admirable job of playing its tunes to live audiences. The group was founded in 2001 and with years and years spent on the road, it has come to be looked upon as one of the more interesting jazz fusion outfits on the scene today.
