Clybourne Park is a theater production by Bruce Norris that is centered on issues of race and the pursuit of happiness. Divided into two acts from two different eras, one in the 1950's and one in modern times, the play explores the relationship between race and property, questioning whether the connection has changed much in the past 60 years. Both satirical and poignant, the play received tremendous acclaim when it debuted in New York in 2010, earning writer Bruce Norris a Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2011 and a Tony Award for Best Play.
