A new play by award winning writer Linda Wilkonson set in the time of Tudor England and surrounding the relationship between Mary Queen of Scots and her two guardians, Bess of Hardwick and Earl George Talbot, Bloodline Duty Dynasty Death, is a historical drama directed by Simon James Collier. Though their guardianship of Mary bankrupted them, destroyed their marriage and eventually drove George insane, Bess and George were arguably the reason there was not immense and bloody religious oppression of Scottish protestants--Mary was staunchly Catholic and similar to her cousin Mary Tudor in her oppressive beliefs. This often overlooked relationship in history provides a unique glimpse into England's past, while entertaining the audiences along the way.
