About
A new play by J.T. Rogers, Blood and Gifts is set in 1981 during the Afghan conflict and promises to be a political thriller. Directed by Howard Davies, the performance follows CIA agent Jim Warnock and his forced collaboration with an Afghan warlord as well as the British and Pakistani secret services, as they all travel through harsh mountain climates and refugee camps, united only by a common enemy. Littered with humor, but primarily a war thriller, Blood and Gifts makes its world premiere in London.
