Budapest Bár is a gypsy jazz outfit that hails from Hungary. Named after the bar where it was founded, the group blends traditional folk songs and Hungarian film soundtrack influences into a tasteful gypsy style. Realizing its music has a far greater audience than can be found in dark bar, Budapest Bár released Budapest Bár Volume 1 in 2007 and has since gone on to record new albums and tour throughout Europe.
