About
Afrolicious is a dance-fusion outfit that blends dub, electro and various Latin sounds into an Afrofunk foundation. Initially formed in 2007 as a DJ duo, the group has since expanded to include a live band with as many as a dozen musicians. Based in San Francisco, the group cultivated a dedicated following with its weekly residency at Elbo Room, where it sometimes performs under the name Afrolicious Soundsystem.
