Camella Lobo is a Los Angeles-based artist who releases music under the monicker Tropic of Cancer. Since 2009 she has created hypnotizing synthpop with the combination of post-punk and shoegaze sensibilities, often recruiting minimal electronic artist Taylor Burch to help realize her musical vision during live performances. Tropic of Cancer has developed a reputation for using abstract visuals to accompany her ambient but arresting sounds during live shows around the Los Angeles Area.
