Nine Black Alps

Nine Black Alps is an alternative rock band from Manchester that formed in 2003. The band followed its 2005 debut effort Everything In, with a tour of the UK which included time slots at Europe's largest festivals including Glastonbury Festival, V Festival and Reading and Leeds Festival. After extending its tour to Japan, France, Holland and Germany Nine Black Alps made its way to the US for 2006's South by South West Festival and Coachella with a neo-grunge sound reminiscent of the 1990s. After two more studio albums, Nine Black Alps was put on hold in 2011 due to lineup changes that slowed the progression of the band's songwriting. The following year the rejuvenated band announced its comeback album and released Sirens in 2012.
