Todd Terry is an American DJ and producer of house music. He largely dominated the electronic music scene in the '80s and defined New York house music more than any other producer. His brand of electronic music mixed with hip-hop created a ripple amongst music lovers. Brooklyn-born Terry began his career in the early 1980s DJing at parties, playing various genres like disco, hip-hop and later house as well. He made his debut under the name Masters at Work with the single "Alright Alright." He then went on to collaborate with other stars of the genre, producing unforgettable works like "I'll House You" and "Missing." His work has been considered invaluable in the development of house and rave music and he is regarded as one of the vanguards of house music.
