The Nomads is a Swedish punk band that played a seminal role in the Scandinavian punk rock scene of the 1980s and subsequent garage rock wave during the 1990s. The group dropped its debut album, Where the Wolf Bane Blooms, in 1983, kicking off an ardent recording and touring schedule that would last throughout the next two decades, a period that saw over a dozen releases from the band. Inspiring bands like The Hives along the way, The Nomads transitioned seamlessly into the garage rock revival and continued to play live shows into the 2000s, with gigs at high-profile events such as Sweden's 2008 Peace and Love Festival.
