With its reggae-inspired rock, Sublime romanticized a whole generation of stoned slackers who lived in their parents basement in Southern California. Though the group achieved greater success after the passing of lead singer Bradley Nowell (due to a drug overdose in 1996), the band reformed in 2009 with a new lead singer and continue to rouse audiences with renditions of the band's beach bum stoner anthems of the 1990s.
