While it's a dubstep project at its core, Submotion Orchestra is anything but your run-of-the-mill tech geeks using computes to make music. Seven people deep, the band uses layered textures, waves of deep bass rhythms and its funk, reggae and jazz influences to create its brand of progressive live dubstep. Formed in 2009, the released its eponymous EP in 2010 before dropping its full-length debut Finest Hour, in 2011.
