Pretty Maids

There are a good deal of bands out there that are able to carry out professional careers with their musical endeavors and the the Danish metal band Pretty Maids is one such act. The group was formed in 1981 and has released several moderately successful albums, even opened for the likes of Alice Cooper, Deep Purple and Whitesnake, but the Maids have never grown into a monumentally commercial successful act like a few of the group's peers have. Staying small has worked well for the band, though, and it is able to play small time clubs where the band's members can actually see the white of their fans eyes.
