Loreen is a singer/songwriter from Stockholm, Sweden who owns a dance-inspired pop sound. She first rose to national attention in 2004 as a contestant on the television talent show Idol, though stepped out of the public's view shortly after finishing in fourth place and releasing one single. She made a triumphant return to the world stage in 2011, when she competed in that year's Melodifestivalen. After winning the competition, she went on to represent Sweden in the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, which she ultimately won with the song "Euphoria." She followed the international victory with her debut studio album, Heal, in 2012.
