About
French classical pianist David Fray was catapulted to fame after winning BBC's "Newcomer of the Year" award in 2008 for his eccentric interpretation of Bach pieces. Beginning his study of music at age 4, Fray was immediately noticed by his teachers and advanced rapidly, winning national awards by the age of 14. Now, at the age of 29, Fray tours extensively, performing recitals throughout France and the rest of Europe.
