Formed in 1979, Keimzeit toured East Germany extensively and eventually, when the Berlin Wall fell, toured throughout West Germany. The band didn't actually release an album until 1990, but it was a success and produced the hit single "Kling Klang." Never disbanding, Keimzeit still releases new material and tours throughout Germany and Austria every year.
