The Stephen Pointer Band

Growing up in Fort Worth, Texas, Stephen Pointer started performing at age 12 with blues star Sugar Dave Milsap. As he continued to develop his musical style, Pointer decided country rock was his forte and found fellow musicians that shared his musical preference, forming The Stephen Pointer Band. Gaining attention with its dance floor hit, "Shut up and Drink" the band has become a favorite on the Forth Worth scene and has spread its party message throughout Texas and Oklahoma.
