Shy Blakeman, the Texas born country singer/songwriter with a cowboy swagger and the attitude of an outlaw, is hardly shy. Producing what he calls "genuine country music" that pays homage to southern blues and Dixieland jazz, Blakeman has found success on the Texas Top 10 charts with each album release. While he may lay on the bravado a bit thickly, he seems to have found popularity amongst the fans he strives to impress.
