Adam Theis

Adam Theis is a multi-instrumentalist bandleader/composer/producer based in San Francisco Bay Area, CA who plays trombone, bass, trumpet, tuba and keyboards. Adam has been an active member of the San Francisco Bay Area music scene for the past 20+ years. In 2000 Adam co-founded Jazz Mafia, an eclectic artist-collective of some of the top players of electro, hip-hop and of course jazz, in the Bay Area. As Jazz Mafia’s leader, Theis has assembled nearly 100 different live projects over the past 14 years and led dozens of successful and acclaimed bands including Shotgun Wedding Quintet, Realistic Orchestra, Western Territory Project, Brass Mafia, Subharmonic and the 50-piece Hip-Hop Symphony.
