Raised in rural Texas, alt-country singer/songwriter Ryan McBride has become a surprising staple to the Fort Worth live music scene. Impressing indie rock musician Joey Green, who witnessed McBride play an acoustic set, the Texas gentleman was thrown into the studio, recording his debut album in a mere two weeks. Hailed as a country rocker that speaks to Generation-Y with lyrics more akin to those of Connor Oberst than to Toby Keith, McBride is bringing more than "Beer for [his] Horses" to the stage.
