Formerly known as WAR, the lo-fi pop duo Vår is made up of Elias Rønnenfelt and Lohke Rahbeck, two prominent figures in Copenhagen's punk revival scene. The band combines dance pop music with a punk ethic for a dark but romantic sound. Vår made its North American debut at the 2012 Northside Festival in Brooklyn, following the release of its single and video "In Your Arms."
