Mull Historical Society is the project of Scottish singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Colin MacIntyre. He released his debut album Loss, in 2001, offering a window into his consciousness after the sudden death of his father. The album earned him immediate attention and praise for his alternative, almost Baroque songwriting. As intimate as his music is, Mull Historical Society somehow always leaves an air of hope on all his records, from 2003's Us to 2012's City Awakenings.
