Eivind Aarset

Eivind Aarset is a Norwegian jazz guitarist who has worked with some some leading music tallents including Ray Charles, Dee Dee Bridgewater and Dhafer Youssef. Incorporating a distinctively modern style of playing, Aarset is known for his impressive ability to seam elements of electronic music into his colorful instrumental approach. Though Aarset has served as a backing guitarist for a number of well known talents, he has also tours as a band leader and has released a number of solo albums, beginning his his 1998 debut album, Electronique Noire.
