Based in Charlottetown, PEI, Canada the Danks is an indie rock duo that was formed in 2005 by Brohan Moore and Alec L'Hanley. Since releasing its 2006 EP In Alright, the band established itself as an anti-workaday group that creates a fun blend of indie pop/garage rock. The band released its debut album in 2009 and recieved critical acclaim for its guitar hooks and power pop effort.
