Dancefloor champions Afghan Raiders are a duo from Las Vegas that created a following playing the Los Angeles underground electro scene. After the release of its debut EP "Future Thinkers/Solid Gold," the band was noticed by The Faint bassist Joel Peterson, was asked to remix The Faint song "Mirror Error" and open for his side band Broken Spindles on tour. From this one remix came multiple other hit remixes of Neon Indian, M.I.A and The Black Lips, as well as a full length album released to critical acclaim. Winning Filter Magazine's remix contest and deemed "this year's breakout dance act" by Spin Magazine, Afghan Raiders have a bright future lit with neon dancefloor lights.
