Formed in the mid '90s in Los Angeles, foursome Imperative Reaction became one of the few American futurepop bands in the primarily European genre. However, its debut album was greeted with a huge amount of success on the college and independent charts, its electro-industrial sound resonating with a diverse group of fans. Imperative Reaction has continued to release albums and tour extensively, maintaining a reasonable success rate.
