Der Weg Einer Freiheit is a German heavy metal band that has built a solid reputation for itself with a sound that blends characteristics of black metal with groove-based atmospherics to create a distinctive and uncompromising style of music. The group released its self-titled debut album in 2009 and with additional LP releases as well as a regular touring schedule, the band has been hailed by critics as one of it's generations premier German black metal acts.
