Bruno Nicolini, who performs and releases music under his Benabar moniker, is a French singer/songwriter who specializes in performing music that falls within the chanson style. Pitting his unique voice against a piano, accordion or brass band, Nicolini's music is characteristically French and has the ability to transport listeners to the beautiful City of Light. Though Nicolini released his debut album, La p'tite monnaie Bénabar et associés, in 1997, he didn't managed to properly break through with the French listening public until 2005, when he released his massively popular album, Reprise des négociations.
