Baba Zula is a Turkish band that blends elements of folk, psychedelic rock and electronica together to create a progressive, avant-garde sound. Formed in Istanbul in 1996, The group would initially distinguish itself as a powerful live act and build a solid reputation for its stage shows before releasing its 1999 debut album, Üç Oyundan Onyedi Müzik.
