Though Welsh-born singer/songwriter Charlotte Church started her music career as a child, singing classical music, she managed to successfully transition into the more adult-oriented pop music market in 2005. Church released her debut album, Voice of an Angel, a selection of sacred songs, arias and classical pieces, when she was at the age of 12. The album would go on to be an international best seller, helping make Church the youngest artist in history with a No. 1 album on the British classical crossover charts.
