French artist Maxxo brings a new approach to reggae and dancehall with his inventive lyrics and playfully stylish sound. Maxxo began recording as a solo reggae act in 2007, quickly garnering media attention and acclaim from listeners. His self-produced debut album, New World Design, placed him at the center of a new musical movement dubbed milieu-reggae, emerging from the cultural and technological revolutions surrounding music production. Maxxo continues to pursue independent production and play shows all throughout Europe as his catchy, spiritual and socially conscious sound evolves.
