Poolside is a band from Los Angeles that makes a characteristic form of daytime disco music that's well suited for any lounge-friendly event or laid back gathering. Ofically forming in 2010 when long time musicians Filip Nikolic and Jeffrey Paradise started getting together with no clear intention apart from making easy to listen to music that nods to the sunshine and the surfer culture that permeates Southern California. The group released its debut album, Pacific Standard Time, in 2012 and the critically lauded album has helped Poolside build its fan base significantly.
