Joey Baron

Joey Baron is an avant-garde drummer from Richmond, Virginia who is probably best known serving as a stick-man for widely recognizable musicians like David Bowie, Stan Getz and Bill Frisell. Having also played with the Los Angeles Philharmonic as well as with more experimental musicians like John Zorn and Laurie Anderson, Baron can mold and shape his playing to suit nearly any genre. In his own solo music endeavors, though, Baron is in command and is able to dictate the pace and flow of the music as he sees fit.
