The Misfits formed in 1977 and introduced the world to horror punk, a mixture of punk music with horror themes and elements. The Misfits has been an ever-evolving band over the years that has seen many different members come and go, including group founder and lead singer Glenn Danzig. It has made it through though its various breakups and transitions, however, and continues to be one of the most popular punk bands in the world.
